Heritage and Knowledge
The Quilters Guild of Plano is proud to have within its membership, talented quilters who volunteer to serve the educational needs of organizations within the Plano community. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the purpose of the Guild is to:
- Preserve the heritage of quilting
- Promote the knowledge and understanding of quilting
- Provide opportunities for continuing education among those interested in the art of quilting

The Guild is an all volunteer organization. Accordingly, time must be allowed between contacting the Education Chair and scheduling participation at an event. Some programs require more notice and preparation than others. Please email or mail your request at the earliest possible date prior to the event to discuss and schedule a program.

- Quilt History Lecture
- Quilt Trunk Show (a variety of old and new quilts shown and discussed)
- Redwork Quilt workshop
- Applique workshop
- Photo Scrapbooking/Memory Quilt Workshop
