We were honored to have Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Anthony Ricciardelli choose his selection for the Mayor’s Award – “Crossing the Brazos”, an original design by Judy Beskow. The design used broderie-perse raw edge applique and thread painting with over 50 different threads.

Donna Petrick
Donna started quilting in 1993, joined the Quilters Guild of Plano in 1996, and quickly became very involved in the guild. She has served on several board positions, including President and several quilt show offices. She is a master quilter with multiple blue ribbons, the leader of a monthly community service group, and a member of a small group that has been together for many years.
