Community Service

Community Service Sew Days

The Quilters Guild of Plano Community Service outreach gives members a meaningful way to share their love of quilting while supporting our community. At guild meetings, members can pick up cuddle and pillowcase kits, quilts to bind, and quilt tops, backs, and batting ready for long arm quilting. We welcome donations of quilts and quilt tops of all sizes, which are completed and donated to charitable organizations listed below. Donations of fabric, batting, tools, and quilting supplies are also appreciated and help make quilt kits, backings, challenge projects, and other community service efforts. For larger donations, we can arrange pickup. Contact us at communityservice@qgplano.org for more information..
