Quilting Bees — friendship, conversation & stitching together. Small groups make guild meetings warmer and more fun.
Small Groups (or Quilting Bees) are an intimate, informal way to quilt with others. Anyone can start a group! The Beekeeper helps match members with similar interests or locations.

✂️ Ambassador Groups
Ambassador Groups are the groups that interface directly with people in the community who are interested in sewing for the community and/or learning about the guild. These groups are open to all people who want to join. This will be a leader of each group who will inform the beekeeper of the activity level. If you are interested in hosting a new group please let the beekeeper know.

🎨 Art Quilters of Plano (AQOP)
Meet the 2nd Saturday at 9:00 AM at Fabric Fanatics, 910 West Parker Rd #325, Plano, TX. No membership required – just an interest in art quilting! Share work, demos, and challenges.
🧵 Sew Happy Quilters
Meet the 1st & 3rd Thursday, 9 AM – 4 PM at Sam Johnson Recreation Center, 401 W. 16th Street, Plano, TX.
🪡 Fourth Friday Featherweight Friends
Two groups:
One meets at Best Little Retreat Center in Texas, 9 AM – 9 PM. Reservations required: 469-708-2378 or email info@blrcit.com.
One meets at Ready, Set, Quilt, 1101 Ohio Dr, Plano, Tx., 9 AM – 4 PM. Reserve: email pickincotton26@verizon.net.
Bring lunch or go out together.

Meets on the second Thursday each month at 10:00 AM.

Meets every fourth Saturday at 9 AM.

These currently open small groups are made up of members of the Quilters Guild of Plano. We are also in the process of forming new groups. If you are interested in being in a small sewing bee, contact beekeeper@qgplano.org.
⭕ Hoop It Up
Machine embroidery Zoom meeting the First Monday of each month, 10 – 11 AM. Share ideas, hints, sew together, and work on the current Quilt Plano show challenge.
