Why volunteer?
Volunteering at Quilt Plano 2026 offers a unique way to experience the show. From interacting with fellow quilters to helping set up exhibits, there’s a role for everyone. Volunteers also receive special perks, free admission with four total hours of volunteer commitment, and a special charm created for each year.

🎟️ Ticket Sales & Admission
Sitting position – handle money, credit cards & greet guests warmly.
🧚 Quilt Angels
Standing/walking – safeguard quilts, offer info, wear white gloves & apron.
🔨 Set-Up Crew
Hang signs, sort hardware, hang quilts (no ladders). Wednesday focus.
📦 Take-Down Crew
Remove quilts, sort hardware, fold quilts & check-off inventory.
🧑🏫 Demo Host & Greeter
Mostly sitting – help attendees with demo maps & assist teachers.
🛡️ Volunteer Check-in
Sign-in/out, hand out charms & buttons, hold purses & announce prizes.
🚨 Security
Slow walking through vendors – fluorescent vest, call police if needed.
🎁 Membership & Raffle
Sell raffle tickets, sign up new members, process payments.
🪡 Quilt Hanging
Hanging quilts, sorting rods, working with white gloves – no ladders.
📋 Quilt Turn-in
Sitting/running – check quilts, match forms, deliver to storage.
